NFT Drop: Thermal Prints are Ready
Letter Zero.63
Dear friend,
Done. Took a bit longer than anticipated, but all 100 thermal art postcard NFTs are created, hosted on OpenSea, and ready for distribution. Are you ready to claim yours? Here’s what you need to know…
Not all NFTs are equal.
If you collect NFTs, you are familiar with the concept of rarity. Big projects are organized around different attributes that aren’t distributed evenly throughout the edition. When traits are scarce they are more highly coveted and they sell at a premium. Here is how the rarity breaks down across my postcards:
Common: Carnation (48)
Rare: Sunflower (21), Rose (15)
Legendary: Columbine (5), Thistle (3), Chrysanthemum (3), Lupine (3), Buttercup (2), Iris (2)
Go ahead and visit OpenSea and play with the “Flower” filter in the left sidebar to explore the variations.
So how do you get yours?
If you received a thermal print postcard in the mail you are automatically eligible for a free NFT. Just send me a photo of the front and back of your postcard and your wallet address (Wallet setup instructions here.) That’s all I need to transfer the NFT to you.
If you DIDN’T get a postcard (or heaven forbid lost it) don’t dismay! I still want to give you an NFT. Reply to this email with your wallet address and I will send you a free one-of-a-kind NFT.
How long do you have?
Email me this week. After that, I will make my NFTs available to people outside this email list. Don’t be slow, I would hate for you to see your NFT in somebody else’s wallet.
What am I talking about?
If none of this makes sense, you probably missed my video where I talk about NFTs and why they matter.
Why am I doing this?
For me, the best way to learn is to dive in head first. I believe NFTs will be a fundamental part of how crypto will change our lives in the coming years. If digital art NFTs are the first wave of something much bigger, let’s participate together. Stay creative.
Your friend,
Adrian
