Postcard Art, Second Edition
Letter Zero 46
Dear friend,
I dropped a stack of postcards in the mail yesterday. It’s the second edition in my Postcard Zero art project. Email is nice, but isn’t it great to walk to your mailbox and find a postcard from a friend?
Here’s a bit more info about my project. Each postcard is unique. Last time my theme was cameras, but this time I am calling them mutations. I started with a straightforward drawing taken from illustrations in User Zero. Then over the course of 9 iterations the image was distorted and abused as I applied it to progressively more unique papers.
6 drawings x 10 mutations = 60 postcards
Here’s what they look like…
Will you get one of the simpler ones or one of the more distorted versions? Check your mailbox this week to find out. If you don’t get one, don’t worry. I am already working on the third edition so if you don’t want to miss out next time, just be sure that your address is up to date.
Merry Christmas. Thanks for letting me inhabit your inbox for another week. I’ll write again next Sunday. Stay creative.
Your friend,
Adrian
