Many of you have opened packages from me and experienced firsthand the attention to detail I put into my art shipments. I don’t outsource anything. I am too obsessed to let anyone help me. I design the labels, I die-cut the stickers, I emboss the paper. I write personalized notes and include bonus gifts. There’s no need to cut corners or rush things when the product you are shipping is an extension of yourself. It’s personal and I believe that people feel it when my box of goodies arrives in their mailbox.
I’m telling you this because it will help you understand how special it was when one of the backers of my last Kickstarter made a video documenting his unboxing experience. His name is Knoptop and he is a worthy follow.
It was such a pleasure getting to see the opening side of my packaging efforts. I couldn’t resist creating a reaction video as I watched Knoptop’s unboxing. You can see the joy in my face as I watch somebody experiencing my art for the first time. Plus, I add some commentary that explains some behind-the-scenes aspects of the production process.
If I haven’t sent you art before, check this out so you can see what all the hullabaloo is about:
By the way, if I haven’t sent you art, why not? Now would be a good time to get on my mailing list because I just launched something called the Art Dopamine Exchange program. ADEx for short. It’s simple. You fill out a form. I send you a print. You repay me with dopamine when you tell people about your free gift. Here’s the link:
As the year comes to an end it’s fun to reflect on the art I produced in 2024. It was a good year. I’m not sure I will send another email before 2025, so allow me to say thank you for helping make 2024 a good year for me. I wish you nothing but the best in 2025. Stay creative.
Your friend,
Ade
